BeFlexi-SGS partnership going strong

Last week, Alim Saidov, Executive Vice-President, Oil Gas & Chemicals at SGS traveled to Cyprus for discussions on the BeFlexi-SGS partnership.

BeFlexi signed a global collaboration agreement with SGS – the world’s leading inspection, verification, testing and certification company – in 2015 to provide flexitank supply and installation services to companies in over 2,000 locations.

During his visit, we discussed the results of the partnership, which has seen a string of success stories since the collaboration began, most recently including lucrative installations in Malaysia, Turkey and Argentina.

We also met with the Cyprus Government to discuss various initiatives around water storage (read more here).

The partnership is set to continue in 2017 with plans to implement industry standards for flexitanks. The aim of this process of standardization is to not only increase transparency – boosting competition and ultimately improving quality – but also to give key industry players access to a bigger market.
