#BrunoOnBoard: Intermodal South America. Over and out.

After having traveled three continents in three weeks, the time has finally come for the last #BrunoOnBoard!

Last week, I was joined by my colleague, Nelson Guerreiro, in São Paulo for the biggest event in the South American logistics industry – Intermodal South America.

BeFlexi participated as an exhibitor for the first time and Nelson and I were happy and proud to welcome a number of colleagues from SGS: Pedro Soares and Geória Santos Ribas from Brazil, Manuel Garcia Ratto from Argentina and Freddy Bautista from Peru.

Across the three days we met existing and potential customers from all corners of South America: Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Bolivia, Paraguay, Peru, Ecuador and even Venezuela. This is truly an exciting and new frontier market. Everyone has a good understanding of the benefits of flexitank technology and is keen to start using them to transport all sorts of commodities from chemicals to wine and edible oils of all kind.

More importantly, we were able to meet and present our strategy and business model to several partners and freight forwarding companies. Together with our global partner SGS – who is able to give fitting services in 2000 locations around the world – we can provide and allow any forwarder around the world to become a local, regional or global flexitank operator.
