South Korea, we are open for flexitank business
BeFlexi is pleased to announce our latest expansion into the South Korea market. South Korea is the world’s 8th largest export economy and is a major exporter of latex and base oil. Last year exports amounted to US$495.5 billion.
Just this month, we completed successful early orders for a number of logistics companies operating in the region. This signals an important step into the East Asian market for BeFlexi, where we believe there is huge potential for growth.
Angelina Shepitko, Sales Manager, says “I have been working with BeFlexi for only three months, so to have started operations in a brand-new market within this time is something I am very proud of. What’s more, that the business was secured through our own network means our hard work is paying off. It’s great to be part of a strong business and brand.”
Eric Lim, Director of GFS Global Logistics Co., Ltd says, “We are excited to partner with BeFlexi for the supply of flexitanks in the region. We have successfully completed an initial order and are optimistic for the future.”
At BeFlexi, we’re driven by a global commitment to sustainable logistics and fair trade. Currently, there are thousands of tons of non-dangerous liquid and dry cargo being distributed in bulk, but which could be switched to the more cost-effective and less risky flexitank solution. Together with logistics companies, we aim to deliver this innovative flexitank technology and know-how to end consumers around the world.
We now look forward to further developing relations with key logistics companies in South Korea and increasing our presence there.
A big ‘thank you’ goes to Derek Lee and Gandalf Park of SGS Korea for their support during our recent trip to Seoul.
