US FDA
The Food and Drug Administration is an agency of the United States Department of Health and Human services, responsible for protecting and promoting public health through the regulation and supervision of food safety, tobacco products, dietary supplements, and etc. The FDA also enforces laws that are not directly related to food or drugs, such as sanitation and requirement, and transportation of foodstuffs.

They have over 19500 international standards published covering many industries, including technology and food safety. Many organizations have adopted different standards and become certified by ISO.

The COA has been the only and most well-known organization in flexitank industry that operators and manufacturers widely engage in business according to the Code of Practice set established. It also holds rail impact tests for flexitank manufacturers.
