Expanding young minds with internship program

This week, we’re pleased to welcome a new member to our team: Theodoros Papadopoulos.

Theodoros is joining BeFlexi on a six-week internship through a special program organized by the Cyprus Shipping Chamber and the Cyprus University of Technology (CUT). Theodoros is currently studying for a Masters in Shipping and Business at CUT, having graduated with a Bachelor in Business and Public Administration in 2015.

During the six weeks, we will be giving him as much exposure to the business as possible and he will rotate between our Business Development, Marketing, Sales and Operations business functions. First up, however, he is with Yan Chizhevskiy, our Business Development Director, to get introduced to ins and outs of our solutions and markets.

Bruno Silva, Managing Director at BeFlexi, says, “I’m really excited by this program because not only do we have the chance to bring fresh ideas and perspectives into the business, but more importantly, we get the opportunity to support the development of a young person. Over the coming months we will be looking for more young, bright minds to join our team in various functions and capacities.”
